Hello all, my name is Brandon and I’m 25 years old.  Originally I’m from Bozeman, Montana and lived there till I went to college in Spokane, Washington.  One month after graduating, I moved to Portland and have been enjoying it ever since.

I’ve been with the hotel since the end of 2006 and am the morning Doorman.  That means that when you pull up to the front of the hotel I will be there to open your door and welcome you the deluxe. Besides being one of the faces that greets you to our hotel I also help unload luggage, give directions and suggestions for places to eat and things to see and do.  I also delegate any requests that a guest or the front desk might have to the team of Bell/Valets working with me at the front door.

My favorite thing about working at the deluxe is the guest interaction.  People from all over the world are there everyday and we get to talk to them and get to know them.  The most rewarding part of working at the hotel is helping guests enjoy their time in Portland.  It’s a good feeling to know you have made someone’s visit to Portland more enjoyable.

When I’m not at the deluxe I’m probably outside somewhere Bouldering-rock climbing without ropes- playing Folf, or practicing Yoga.  I love the outdoors and will do pretty much anything out in it but those are my favorite activities.  Inside or out, I like good food and good beer and Portland has a lot of both to offer!
