Missed the chili mead - it sounds snappy indeed!

It's out pleasure to be a resource, we've been doing it for our guests face-to-face for a long time now, we just thought it was time to get with the 21st century and share online.

Maybe we'll see you at the Brewer's Fest this weekend Thom!

For sure. Did you manage to try the chili mead? Sure, it was four tickets, but that was... snappy!

Love the blog. Very cool to have one of our classic hotels online showing visitors (and locals) what's what.

Thom,

I took a look at BS' review and man some of those are spot on! I don't consider myself to be an expert taster (don't get me wrong I know a beer when I taste a beer) but I do remember a few of those (before the euro strength actually got to me) and they were right on. I would have to agree that the Flanders Red (#12) was one of my favorites. Thanks for the link, I'll have to try the other next year!

cheers,
Zach

BS Brewing just wrote up a review of the PIBF. Take a peek — it's definitely worth attending, and you're absolutely right about being careful about these euro beers sneaking up on you. Many of them are quite potent.
